Who Wants This Painting?

Because you can start bidding on it now through December on the Unveil South Main site. Undecided? Come see this bad boy in person this Friday at the Jack Robinson Gallery and then come to Muse Inspired Fashion for my individual opening from 7 to 9 pm. My wonderful momma and grandmomma are supplying tasty shrimp antipasta and wine and you get to see me in a pretty outfit at my most socially awkward. Who'd want to miss that?

Again, don't be a square. Come to this thing. It'll be fun for everyone.

Love,
Chloe

Yellena James

Yellena James makes some dang beautiful paintings. I would love to be this good. Look at those wonderful crisp edges! I'm also dying over the intense amount of layering and details. See more of Yellena James's work here.

Hello There

It's been a while. Lately, I've been attempting to press on with the Unveil South Main prep, but then I realized I could afford to buy all the volumes of Batman: The Animated Series on dvd. My priorities as you can imagine, have turned away from art-making to laying in bed watching Batman cartoons and eating Count Chocula. Did I mention I'm 12 years old?

So today, I took action. I grabbed some coffee from my butler, Alfred and strolled into the Bat Cave where I keep my easel and paints and suited up for victory. I'm pleased to announce the birth of two new "Decorators." They still have a way to go, but here is some progress for ya, m'dear.

Love,
Chloe

Oldy One

I found this photo on Memphis College of Art's website of an old painting I did. I forgot all about it. The layering is kind of nice, but I'm not fond of that palette. It's cool to be able to track your progress. I think I've come a long way.
